Local non-profit awards grants in Ganado, Louise, Markham and El Campo

Each year, the Young Family Foundation accepts grant applications and carefully selects recipients for community grants. The Young Family Foundation is pleased to announce the 2020 recipients (listed below photo gallery):

Community of Ganado

  • Ganado First United Methodist Church – $1,897.55
  • Ganado Volunteer Fire Department – $1,500
  • Lavaca-Navidad River Authority – $5,700

Community of Louise

  • Louise Volunteer Fire Department – $1,500

Community of Markham

  • Tidehaven High School Band – $1,890.30
  • Markham Volunteer Fire Department – $2,500

Community of El Campo

  • El Campo Medical Foundation – $10,000
  • City of El Campo EMS – $5,000
  • Boarding for Rescues & Animal Welfare – $2,000
  • St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church – $2,500
  • El Campo High School Life Skills Class – $797.92
  • El Campo Volunteer Fire Department – $1,500
