The Young Family Foundation Awards 2018 Scholarships

The Young Family Foundation, the non-profit organization founded in 2000 by YK Communications owners Raymond Young, Royce Young, and Paula Young Kacer, proudly announces their 2018 scholarship recipients. Each plans to attend an accredited college or vocational school located in the state of Texas. We congratulate them on their accomplishments and wish them much success as they continue their education.

To date, more than 95 scholarships totaling $1,008,000.00 have been awarded to students in Ganado, Louise, Tidehaven, and El Campo for various academic and vocational programs.

The 2018 scholarship recipients are:
• Haylie Hicks, Janaya Carrasco, and Stephanie Kocian of Ganado High School
• Shelbie Hendrix and Sanae Brandes of Louise High School
• Malorie Aguilera of Tidehaven High School
• Miguel Moreno Largo and Kyle Peterson of El Campo High School
