Testimonials from Recipients
Being a recipient of the the Young Family Foundation scholarship was truly an honor and a blessing. This scholarship helped me pursue and achieve my dream of becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. After high school, I attended Texas A&M Corpus Christi and graduated in 2005 with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I continued my education at Texas A&M Corpus Christi and graduated with a Masters Degree in Nursing in 2013 and have been working as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Victoria! This scholarship helped me reach my goal, and I will forever be grateful! Thank you, Young Family Foundation!

The Young Family Foundation scholarship has been a blessing to me, my college career, and my life in so many ways. There are not enough words to express my gratitude for this amazing opportunity. For my first and second years of college, I am attended Wharton County Junior College. I then transferred to Texas A&M University for two years where I planned to graduate with a Psychology degree with a Pre-Med background. After graduating from Texas A&M, my goal was to get accepted into a Medical School and earn a Psychiatry degree. This scholarship helped me make my dreams and goals possible. I am truly grateful to be honored with this wonderful and unbelievable opportunity.
